Welcome to 115’000 m² of interconnected innovation space. As part of the most dynamic life sciences cluster in Europe with over 700 companies in the Basel Area, this innovation district is the meeting point for biotech and healthcare trailblazers. The largest building (HQ) lies at the heart of the campus and houses the site’s visitors center, the innovation lounge and coworking offering. By 2029, the area will consist of five buildings, constructed by SENN, and designed by award-winning architects. FOUR ADDITIONAL BUILDINGS FOR SWITZERLAND INNOVATION PARK BASEL AREA

The Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area in Allschwil in the canton of Basel-Landschaft is set to be expanded from 50,000 square meters to 115,000 square meters by 2029: Opened a year ago, the main building will be supplemented by four new buildings, which will together form the Main Campus. Senn Resources is investing around 350 million Swiss francs to make this vision a reality.

Go-ahead for unique innovation campus in Allschwil

The Bachgraben enterprise zone in Allschwil just outside Basel is expanding rapidly. Excavation work has now begun on the BaseLink site for the innovation and enterprise campus. The impressive building was designed by Basel-based architects Herzog & de Meuron. The developer is the St.Gallen property development company Senn Resources AG. The Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area has been confirmed as a strategic partner and anchor tenant. Alongside the building currently under construction for the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, the building will add to the Basel region's ecosystem for research, education and innovative businesses in the areas of life sciences, biotech, public health and medtech.

With the expansion of the Main Campus, a vision to build Europe’s Silicon Valley for biotech and health tech pioneers becomes reality. Two organizations contribute significantly to the realization of the new site. The development and construction of the site is carried out by the real estate company SENN. Here, the family-owned builder impressively demonstrates its core competencies working with world-renowned architects like Herzog & de Meuron in an efficient and economical way. The second organization, Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area, forms the ecosystem that allows universities and innovative companies to collaborate and shape the future in Switzerland’s largest life science focused area of an innovation park.
