INFRASTRUCTURE

SPACE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

By offering turnkey labs and offices, conference facilities and ample coworking space, Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area creates the ideal environment for ideas to grow and flourish.

Fully equipped & shared labs

When starting a biotech, it is important to focus on what matters most, which is generating data to further advance science and building the company. And not wasting resources – both capital and human – to first setting up a lab infrastructure. For that reason, we have set up a fully-equipped and permitted ready-to-go lab with flexible and short-term rental contracts where companies can rent one or more benches with access to:
  • Shakers, incubators and autoclaves
  • Fridges, freezers and ice machines and liquid nitrogen tanks
  • PCR and qPCR machines
  • Various plate readers, imaging stations and microscopes
  • HPLCs, rotavaps and chemical hoods
  • Cell culture facilities (up to BSL-2 safety levels)
  • and more

A dedicated lab manager takes care of everything from equipment maintenance and relevant permits to safety procedures, waste management, and introductions to the various equipment. All a company needs to do is move in. With good timing, employees can start work on the very first day and fully focus on the most important tasks. If you are interested in learning more about the lab space or start-up operations, please contact us.
