Together for your growth

You and your team are given access to an immense and diverse community of great minds. The invaluable power of a tight-knit community spread over three different sites to support and accompany you on your success journey.

The Basel Area is considered one of the most important centers for the global health-care industry. The region counts 700 life science companies and a workforce of more than 33,000 well-trained specialists. It prospers thanks to a unique combination of top-grade universities and research organizations, start-ups with ground-breaking ideas, highly innovative SMEs and headquarters of leading global players. The steady economic growth of the area is based on a strong foundation of entrepreneurial thinking, creativity and the combined knowledge of the great minds uniting here for research, development and production.

Companies at Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area find themselves in the midst of this thriving ecosystem and residents are given every opportunity to profit from the Park’s excellent network in the academic and corporate world. In addition, each of the three sites is located in highly beneficial surroundings. The industrial area that is home to the Allschwil site has become an important life sciences hub rich with opportunities and synergies. The Park’s pending move to the brand-new GRID premises just across the street will only amplify these already favorable conditions create and open up more doors for residents. The Basel site is part of the Technologiepark Basel, one of the premier addresses for tech start-ups in Basel. It is located in the rapidly growing Stücki Park in the dynamic northern part of the city. The site in Delémont (Canton of Jura), finally, was specifically designed to foster collaboration between traditional local companies, academic groups and progressive start-ups with a focus on medtech and robotics.

The most important network, however, may very well be found within Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area. Founders will meet like-minded scientists who have faced some of the same challenges and gone through the same stages of entrepreneurship. The entire concept featuring shared and communal spaces is geared to promote fruitful exchange and cooperation on all levels among residents.
